We visited 2 other schools in the area and we chose OC Montessori because how spacious and clean the areas are for the kids. We felt like this would provide the best environment for our child. The biggest selling point to us was that the lunches were made on site at the school. While other schools offer lunch catered in, OC Montessori actually has their own kitchen and cook that makes lunch for the children, which gave us a piece of mind of knowing where the food came from. Along with a knowledgeable director and wonderful teachers on staff, we felt like this school would give our child a solid foundation for her early school years. Without a doubt, my wife and I know that we chose the right school as our daughter tells us constantly how much fun she has at school. I would highly recommend this school to any parents that are looking for a safe and creative place for your child.
OC Montessori is a fantastic school. The teachers are very caring and supportive. They plan fun activities for all of the Holidays and their self paced curriculum has really allowed my daughter to blossom and grow. She loves going to school and has enjoyed all of the fun activities and school trips. From day one the Director has been nothing but welcoming and responsive to all of our questions. Sending her here has been one of the best decisions we’ve made.
AS a parent and a Psychologist who specializes in working with children 0-5 years of age, I have to say I have been amazed with OC Montessori. My little boy started in room 3 and has worked his way up to room 5 after several years of attending this school. The staff has always been incredibly warm and caring, and most importantly, their methods INSPIRE our children to learn not only academic, but life skills. They are inspired to build relationships with others, to learn to be independent, yet a part of a team, and they are exposed to experiences that foster growth and development in all aspects of their lives. I am always impressed by the innovative methods they use and how well they truly build on the children’s level functioning as well as allow their curiosity to guide them. My son is now performing work at a level much higher than expected. He has developed excellent public speaking skills, leadership skills, and I am happy to say, that when he wakes up excited to go to school. I highly recommend OC Montessori to any parent and I have to say that I will be sad when the day comes for my son to transition out of this school. Thank you, OC Montessori for All that you do!
